New Logo Reflects the Evolution and Ethos of First Flight Solutions

Emerald Isle, N.C. (January 22, 2020) — First Flight Solutions announces the launch of a new logo as the company enters its twelfth year in business and a new era in its evolution. Founded in 2008, First Flight Solutions has grown from 0 to 81 employees and nearly 900 customers. Currently FFS manages over a billion dollars in logistics spend and has helped its customers save more than $587 million on small parcel and freight costs.

The deep blue of the new logo, which has been dubbed “First Flight Blue,” matches the Emerald Isle-based company’s ocean-oriented lifestyle. It also perfectly represents the firm’s ethos, as the color blue signifies the qualities that First Flight Solutions embodies: trust, loyalty, dependability, logic, and security.

The biggest change from the old two-winged logo is the shape of the new design. The box shape was deliberately chosen to echo the distinctive shape of the logo of First Flight Solutions’ parent company Transportation Impact.

“Although it connects us with TI, this logo tells a story that is uniquely our own,” said Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jamie Vogel. “The interlocking F and F represent the relationship we have with our customers and partners, while the S snaking through the middle represents what we offer to our customers and partners, namely a pathway to savings, solutions, and success.”
